The Whittington Press was founded in by John and Rosalind Randall. An internationally acclaimed press, Whittington prints and publishes all of its work in letterpress. They have published over books as well as thirty-four issues of Matrix, a periodical of book arts that is a triumph of letterpress and fine printing in and of itself. Russell Punter was born in Bedfordshire, England. From an early age he enjoyed writing and illustrating his own stories. He later trained as a graphic designer at art college in West Sussex before entering publishing. Since then, he has written over fifty books for children, including original fiction in both picture book and young reader formats. Keith E. Whittington is the William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Politics at Princeton University. He is the author of Political Foundations of Judicial Supremacy: The Presidency, the Supreme Court, and Constitutional Leadership in U.S. History; Constitutional Interpretation: Textual Meaning, Original Intent, and Judicial Review; and Constitutional Construction: Divided .

Whittington Court will be open to the public, and the Press will be showing off its latest work, with displays of printing and typecasting. Outside there will be usual array of printers, binders, marblers, wood-engravers and paper-makers, showing off the myriad skills that go into the production of a properly produced book.
Books Matrix is above all a good read, a visual treat, and a unique record of the renaissance of fine printing that was initiated by the foresight of William Morris, and that continues to this day.
Edited, typeset, printed and distributed from its home at Whittington, there is nothing else quite like it, nor is there likely to be. The book is designed as a tribute to a printer whom we hold in the highest regard, but who is too little known even in his native California.
